Despite being on what most would call a total media blackout, Forbes has ranked Gaga as the 14th most powerful woman in the world, ranking her higher than the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, Nancy Pelosi, and Anna Wintour.
Lady Gaga is more powerful than the Queen, according to this year’s Forbes list of powerful women, which has once again been topped by Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor.
The singer Lady Gaga was the youngest woman on the list, at age 26, placed #14, some 12 places higher than the Queen, despite a high profile year with the Royal Jubilee and opening the London Olympics, although she did rise 13 places compared to last year’s list. The Duchess of Cambridge did make the top 100, but did feature in a “Women to Watch” list of 12 for the coming year.
Other celebrity appearances:
14. Lady Gaga
32. Beyonce Knowles
38. Jennifer Lopez
40. Shakira
66. Angelina Jolie
Not only is Gaga the youngest on the list, she is the only musician in the top 30. Check the full list out at the source.
